Samuelle and D'Lynn are siblings that have been singing together almost from birth. They both got their first exposure to the stage as teenagers in their dad's gospel quartet the "Zionaires". Samuelle went on to have huge success as the lead singer of the group Club Nouveau. He charted successful platinum hits such as the remake of "Lean On Me" Situation 9, "Jealousy", "Why Do You Treat Me So Bad". In 1990 Samuelle went Solo and his first single made it to 1 on the Billboard Charts "Get With The Program/So You Like What You See", from the "Black Paradise" album.
Now he has teamed with his brother DLynn who is a guitarist, vocalist and prolific songwriter who has assisted Samuelle throughout his career on several tracks. Together the two are serious students of the music produced in the 60s and 70s where they were heavily influenced by the music of Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield, The Jackson Five, The Temptations, The Spinners, and the legendary Sam Cooke.
The two brothers have embarked upon a "Necessary" journey to bring through their music the essence of love and respect back to R&B. They believe that their inspiring blend of soul and R&B with their gospel roots, will ignite the soul leaving you feeling as though you have been in a time machine that has carried you back to the 60s and 70s, but with 21st century quality.
